Rioting youth

Three youths, one from St Mabyn were arrested on Sunday 8th June and bailed to appear at Wadebridge Police Station at a later date. They were alleged to have run riot through Wadebridge in the early hours causing considerable damage to shops and property.

And to think that M/s Antonia Willis from Tregarden Manor had a letter published in The Times on Thursday 12th June 2008 giving her address as St Mabyn and decrying the "Gangs of feral youths clutching cans of lager and reeking of vomit" who were her justification for objecting to the opening up of coastal footpaths to walkers.
