St Mabyn Players

The St Mabyn Players' Christmas Musical Comedy Extravaganza in St Mabyn Village Hall at 7.30 is now fully booked for 8th, 9th and 10th December. However, seats are available for the Dress Rehearsal on Wednesday 7th. Entry for the Dress Rehearsal is only £4 (pay at the door) and includes light refreshments. The show includes a short play by the well known comedy writer, David Tristram, and contains some adult humour.

Since the Saxon times the country was policed by local 'parish constables'. This square headed style is typical of west country examples. The office of constable was rotated on a annual basis along with other parish duties.
