James Mutton wins conservation trophy

The 2006 Farming & Wildlife Advisory Group conservation competition for the Cornwall Farmers Otter Trophy has been won by James Mutton of Burlerrow Farm, St Mabyn. He runs a mixed farming system over 750 acres and has a large Countryside Stewardship Scheme in place. In addition, he is in the process of converting some of his traditional buildings to office units, utilising his own miscanthus for heating.
