Antiques valuation evening

The antiques valuation evening held in the Village Hall in aid of providing extra funds for additional facilities at St Mabyn School was most enjoyable. Fifty people enjoyed a buffet and wine before the valuations began. Bonham's Mr Roger Tappin was obviously very experienced in his field and delivered the news with much historical fact and humour. A raffle (with the majority of items donated by the Church Roof Restoration Appeal Committee) raised £84 split between the St Mabyn HAS and the appeal committee. In all, £330 was raised for school funds. Thank you to all those who attended.
