Playgroup

St Mabyn pre-school playgroup had a glowing report from Ofsted. The school has been operating since 1974. The group is registered to provide care for 20 children aged from two to five. Currently there are 14 children registered from within this age group. The playgroup offers tremendous support for those youngsters with disabilities or learning difficulties and for those whose mother tongue is not English. It is held on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, during school term-time from 9.10am to 11.40am. Under the various gradings, the group attained good (provision is strong) to satisfactory (this provision is sound in its standard) which is a wonderful result for our community, coupled with that of the outstanding Ofsted report on St Mabyn School.
