Pre-School Grant
St Mabyn Pre-School has received a grant of £5,000 from Lloyds TSB to pay for much-needed administration support and advice.News of the boost was followed by a party at the village hall, attended by past and present pupils and parents of the group.
Chairman Gillian Molesworth-St Aubyn said: "This is a really wonderful boost as it means Angela Brown, our hard working supervisor, will be able to spend more time and energy on what really counts... the children."
The chairman also announced that the pre-school will soon have its own newsletter and page on the village website. The pre-school also has plans to restart its toddler group and aims to retain the support of Jenny Ahern, from the North Cornwall Pre-School Learning Alliance, who helped with the grant application.
