Come Jazz it up!

The 3rd Annual Jazz on the Green organised by the Friends of St Mabyn Church takes place on Friday 18 July starting at 6.30pm. This increasingly popular event on the North Cornwall music calendar features the talented young musicians who go to make up the Bodmin Community College Jazz Orchestra, under the musical directorship of Adrian Evans.
The Green, situated in the centre of the village adjacent to St Mabyn Church, is an ideal venue for this family friendly open-air concert. Bring friends and relations but above all make sure you bring your picnic hamper, overflowing with goodies, a car rug and a camping or deck chair.
The success of an outdoor event is dependent on the weather but the organisers can assure you that whatever the weather jazz there will be. St Mabyn Church is rapidly becoming well known for its marvellous acoustic qualities and with the roof half off as part of the restoration of this magnificent local landmark, if it is necessary everything will take place inside, raising the roof just a little bit further.
