Open Farm Sunday

All kinds of fun and games are taking place on Open Farm Sunday at St Kew Highway this weekend.
Camel Community Supported Agriculture and its neighbours St Kew Harvest Farm Shop are holding this joint event aimed at promoting local food.
Camel CSA is a co-operative group.  Its 50+ members grow fresh, seasonal vegetables for their weekly veg box scheme.
At St Kew Harvest Farm they cultivate their own fruit and vegetables without any chemicals or pesticides in the fields next to the farm shop. They also raise their own free- range Gloucester Old Spot pigs.
It’s all happening on Sunday 13 June between 12.30 and 5pm.  There’ll be guided tours, children’s games & craft activities, nature quiz and vegetable box raffle. Refreshments include hog roast, veggie BBQ, home-made cakes, hot & cold drinks.
