As a result of the article in the October edition of the Parish Magazine, the Parish Council have received a very generous offer of a donation of half of the costs of the Junior Football Goals. Having accepted this donation the Parish Council will now fund the other half of the costs. Enquiries are now in hand to try to purchase these new Junior Football Goals as soon as possible. The old existing iron goalposts will still be covered by polystyrene type materials for safety reasons for all to use. Parishioners will be kept informed of the progress. Ron Heath, Parish Councillor, following up the information from previous articles.
