Treveglos Farm 1941

Treveglos Farm house with evacuee brothers Joe and Ted Zemaitis at the front gate. (They later changed their names from the Lithuanian name to a more English-sounding "Kent".)
Edward is now 74 and living in New Zealand but often thinks of Cornwall. He wonders what happened to a young girl he was keen on called Avice (Avis?) Treleaven and wonders if she ever thought of him?

Joe and Ted Zemaitis with Mrs Batten, Eddie Batten and Mary Batten - taken around the end of the war on the first of many annual visits.
