O.G.Pinch


Large silver prize medal awarded to O.G.Pinch of St.Mabyn by a Camelford Implement agent T. B. Burns for 'the best piece of ploughing', with a Davey Sleep & Co. plough, at Camelford in around 1877.

Re. Ploughing Medal : A Mr. Gatley (not sure how to spell) Pinch farmed at Haywood sometime before 1914

My Mother, Kitty Bray tells me that an Osbertos Pinch farmed at Treveglos - she thinks he was a Brother to Gatley Pinch who farmed at Haywood.
They were reckoned to be very good Farmers.
