The recycling service; a partnership between St Mabyn Parish Council, St Mabyn Stores, Cornwall County Council and Sita has been introduced to reduce the number of used batteries going to land fill. By supporting the scheme you can be sure that potentially toxic metals such as mercury, cadmium and nickel from your old batteries will be safely recovered and reused.
Batteries that can be accepted are: AAA, AA, C and D sizes as well as button, mobile phone and rechargable. Please take you batteries to the shop during normal opening hours.
