Garden Club

The Garden Club started the new year with a very interesting and informative talk by Keith Cann on his world of bee keeping.  With many amusing anecdotes he told us of his love of bees. Bees in a hive have a strict regime of the worker bees, who go out in the world and collect nectar and pollen for making the honey; the drones who look after the housekeeping and of course the queen bee without whom there would be no hive. 

Our next meeting on Wednesday 13 February at 7.30pm St Mabyn Village Hall and our speaker is Peter Davies on Bodmin and Bodmin Moor. This is a new talk with slides from Peter Davies and will be very interesting.
