Christmas party

The successful combination of food, drink, raffle, quiz and general merriment enjoyed by so many over the years at the home of John and Anthea Lobb, will be taking place again this year at their Christmas Party. The Party is on Friday 8 December, with festivities starting at 7.30pm, Many Views, St Mabyn. Tickets, at £6 each, are available from John Lobb (841581).
The opportunity to ‘Buy A Slate’ will also be available at the Party.
Proceeds from this annual party have historically been donated to the general upkeep of St Mabyn Church, a cause dear to the heart of the Lobbs given John’s tireless efforts at carrying out ongoing repair works and maintenance. This year, all monies raised will go specifically towards the Restoration Appeal.
All will be assured of a warm welcome.

THANKS . . . this month specifically go to Ruth Ellery and her team of helpers for hosting and catering at the ‘Buy A Slate’ Launch Party, and to Jo Hyde for all her efforts in making the evening such a success. Thanks also to Richard Jenkins who has given so much of his time in procuring, arranging, printing and producing tickets and other stationery materials for the Appeal, and also to Audrey Cooke for her sterling efforts in the design and production of posters.
