Desmond John Old

St Mabyn said a fond farewell to Desmond John Old today. The service was conducted by Reverend Margaret Millson. John Lobb read movingly from Corinthians 13 and Tony Cox played a beautifully emotive rendition of Vivaldi's "Largo from Winter" on violin.
Des lived his whole live in the village and had played the organ in church for more than 60 years!
The church was packed full of friends, relations and neighbours and the sun shone!
