St Mabyn Scout Group
A Mixed Darts Evening was held at St Mabyn Pub, raising £121 half of which is being donated to the Scout Group – thank you to the Organisers and our supporters.
Also many thanks to the individuals who have donated so generously to our appeal.
The Cornwall Centenary Cub Camp was held at Stithians' Show Ground over the May Bank Holiday weekend to celebrate 100 years of scouting. A little wet and windy to say the least, and wisely the group decided to pack up a day early after damaging winds and rain caused havoc to some equipment. Well done to the leaders whose task it was to keep up the moral of some very cold, wet and fed up cubs! Better luck next time.
Our numbers continue to grow and we now find ourselves in the unfamiliar
situation where we may need to start a waiting list soon!!
