Planning Concerns
There is growing concern in the village about the number of planning applications involving "infill" [building in gardens] which do not address the housing needs of the village.
Jon Miller has written to Dan Rogerson MP, Colin Mutton and NCDC Planning Office to ask them to put pressure on the government to allow more affordable housing to be built.

Comedy of Errors
PENCARROW – 16TH AUGUST AT 7.30PM
The Comedy of Errors is the shortest and perhaps most farcical of Shakespeare's plays and can be seen at Pencarrow, Washaway, Bodmin, on Thursday 16th August at 7.30pm. Theatre Set-Up’s open air presentation tells a tale of separation and reunion in which a tangled web of mistaken identity is woven. It follows the slapstick error-making of twin sons and their twin servants with the same name, as the oblivious pairs and their family try to reunite.
Tickets are available in advance from Pencarrow on 01208 841369 or on the evening, £9 for adults, £8 concessions, £6 children with the gardens open for picnics from 5.30pm, but please, no barbecues. The performance will continue regardless of the weather.
