Playing Fields


The Parish Council have received a number of complaints about people accessing the playing fields from Station Road. To prevent this, it has been agreed that the fence here will be electrified from tomorrow.

St Mabyn Young Farmers

 
St Mabyn Young Farmers are holding a charity cake sale in the coffee lounge St Mabyn Post Office on Saturday 23rd March from 10am till 12 Noon.
There will be tea and coffee and a raffle as well as the usual monthly book swap.

Parish Council Election

Cornwall is set to go to the polls on 2nd May;  residents are being encouraged to check that they are registered to vote.
 
Town & Parish Council Elections are also set to hold their elections.
Anyone who is interested in becoming a councillor can order an information pack from electoral services.
 
There are 123 seats up for grabs on the Unitary Authority.  If this is not for you,  just remember,  your Parish Council needs you.

The St Mabyn Players are hosting a 
COFFEE MORNING
& CAKE SALE
On 
Saturday 16th March 2013
 10am -12noon 
at
Gleneagles, Station Road, St Mabyn
 (third bungalow from the War Memorial.)
 £1.50 for coffee/tea/cake/biscuits and plenty
of free refills!
Donations of Cakes and Raffle Prizes
would be very gratefully received.

 The proceeds from this event
will help fund essential equipment for the Players 2013
production in St Mabyn Village Hall in December.

In the recent Cornwall Federation drama competition, Will Gill, from St Mabyn YFC, was awarded the Best Actor prize and St Mabyn YFC won overall with their performance of Fishy Business.The South West area final in Weymouth is next on the agenda.
