Liskerret Male Voice Choir Concert

As work on the ceiling of St Mabyn Church will not be finished in time, the Liskerret Male Voice Choir Concert on 7th November at 6.30pm (£4) will now take place in St Mabyn Village Hall.

To comply with health and safety regulations scaffolding has had to be erected in the church to a far greater extent than was originally expected.
Many apologies to those who were looking forward to the concert in the church but, unfortunately, the change of venue is quite necessary.

THE FRIENDS OF ST MABYN CHURCH

The Friends of St Mabyn Church are pleased to announce two fund raising events during November.

On SUNDAY 7th NOVEMBER at 6.30pm, The Liskerret Male Voice Choir will perform with popular local support group "Take Note."   Tickets are £4 (pay at the door.)   It will be the first time the Choir has performed in St Mabyn Church and they have prepared an extremely varied and exciting programme for the occasion.

On FRIDAY 12TH NOVEMBER, a volunteer representative of SHELTERBOX will give a talk with slides etc following a meal in St Mabyn Village Hall, 12noon for 12.30pm.  The cost is £12 per person and includes a free glass of wine with a delicious casserole (optional vegetarian main course) and yummy puddings.
Everyone is welcome to attend what promises to be a very special occasion as St Mabyn Church PCC have recently raised more than £1000 for ShelterBox to cover the cost of two boxes.  To book a place please phone Audrey Cooke on 01208 841607 (audreycooke@live.com) as soon as possible.
