Possible date of 1957. He was one of the first people to have Heart Surgery - at Paddington General Hosp in 1961 and was only given 50:50 chance of survival. He did fine oil portraits of his family, pastel portraits, many watercolours of Cornish fishing ports as well as sign writing! He also painted the Mural in Wadebridge Town Hall.
