Planning Decision received from Cornwall Council:-
2009/00521 AD & SW Kellow, Treveglos Farm – Construction of cattle shed – Approved.
Playing Field / Provision of new play equipment: The Chairman briefed the Council on the ROSPA inspection report, and the work highlighted by himself and Cllr A Titcomb to be carried out. A quotation of £424.80 had been obtained for the work identified and Councillors agreed to accept this price and authorised the work to be completed.
CCC Local Maintenance Project – Parish Footpaths: Cllr J Rowe was asked to pursue the matter regarding the surface of the path at Menkee with the Cornwall Council
Allotments:Cllr C Hodges reported on a possible site at Glenmorris, a field of approximately 3.5 acres, with road access. Although the Parish Council had an obligation to investigate the requests for allotments, some of the original writers had now obtained allotments in other areas, and some had withdrawn.
Public Toilets – Public access: Cllr Mrs H Barrett reported that the Hall Committee had agreed to support the grant application compiled by the pre-school to erect a fence around the boundary of the Memorial Hall, with a proviso on the height and materials used. There was no request to the Parish Council to fund this work. The Parish Council were only required to consider an alternative access to the toilets to prevent the public having to walk through the Hall grounds. Councillors agreed to review this request, if the grant application was successful.
To consider a Parish / Community Plan: Cllr Miss C Barry suggested the Parish Council look into the aspects of compiling a parish plan, and agreed that she, along with the Clerk, would make further enquiries.
