Village Car park

Savills will “update the village stakeholders on the Diocese’s vision for offering sites to cater for the car park, village hall, school extension and scout requirements at an open public presentation” at 6.00pm on Wednesday 25th November 2015.

Savills and the Diocese “are seeking the wider St Mabyn community opinion”.

Last year we undertook a survey on the future of the Village Hall. The results of the survey highlighted the need for a new car park for the benefit of the village community and for visitors to the pub, the shop, the church and the school.
There have been meetings with the Diocesan Agents, Savills and negotiations started with the Parish Council and the Saints Way Academy on a long lease for land at a minimal rent for a 30 car park and space for a new Pre School building.

The Parish Council has been leading on this initiative and has already completed a new entrance to the community lavatory.
