St Mabyn Garden Club
Members and friends of St Mabyn Garden Club got together in St Mabyn Hall for their Christmas party. We were entertained by the ladies group Moor Harmony. They sang a variety of songs including carols. We could have listened to them all evening as their singing was beautiful, but the marvellous spread of food awaited us. The wine was kindly donated by our President Venning Davey. John Lobb tested our gardening knowledge with one of his Garden Quizzes. The winner with a very high score was Molly Dyke. Table decoration was won by Agnes Hoskin and Venning Davey.
Our New Year meeting is Wednesday 9 January 7.30pm in St Mabyn Village Hall. The speaker is Henry Kendell on Bees and Honey
