St Mabyn Summer Church Fete 2015

This year's Fete is to be held on The Green at St Mabyn, on Saturday 20th June at 2.30pm.
The afternoon starts with St Mabyn Band of Bell Ringers ringing the Church Bells at 2.00pm and we are delighted to welcome this year the St Minver Silver Band, who will entertain us throughout the afternoon.
As usual we will have our own special pupils from the School to perform the ever popular May Pole Dancing, in addition we have the Traditional Punch and Judy Show, our Grand Draw Raffle directly after the Children Races, the afternoon concludes with the Tug-o-War event, which usually finishes with lots of the public also having a go!!
Cream Teas will be served under the Chestnut Tree, Ice Cream Van in the Green, Bar-b-Q will be provide by the St Mabyn Inn, in the Beer Garden, and Strawberries will be available at the Friend's of St Mabyn Church Stall.
There will be a wide range of stalls from Preserves to Cakes, from Tombola and Competitions to the Plants, with Bric-a-brac to Books and Toys and many many more to enjoy.
Any donations and gifts given for these stalls are most appreciated and welcomed. As on previous years, a number of collectors will be calling house to house around the village a few days before the Fete., (please no clothing, etc)
Thank you for all the generous items, which are kindly given and help to fill the stalls each year.
Please make a note in your diary, and come along to enjoy a great family afternoon for all.
There is disabled access onto the Green. The Fete will still go ahead if the day is Wet!!!
We will use the Church and the Village Hall. Canon Rev. Dave Elkington will open the Fete at 2.30pm
Proceeds go towards St Mabyn Church Funds, and there is plenty of Car Parking available on the day.
Looking forward to seeing you all, have a great day, Colin Hyde
